Two-week course on "Radiation-induced effects with particular emphasis on genetics, development and space-related health issues"
Course: February 14-25, 2011
General information
The course will contain both lectures and practical laboratory work. The aim is to acquaint students with the state of the art in genetic effects after exposure to ionising radiation, human genetic radiation risk estimations, prenatal effects of ionising radiation, radiation effects in newborn and pediatric patients, neuronal maturation, radiation-induced cognitive effects, reproductive toxicity and space biology.
