Objective

This symposium on medical radioisotopes intends to:

• exchange information about existing bottlenecks and/or potential shortages in the service to the public: factors which endanger the security of supply of medical radioisotopes, lacks of harmonisation of the transport regulation, insurance costs, and problems related to the transport safety management;
• present new ideas and initiatives to overcome these bottlenecks and/or potential shortages;
• formulate recommendations in the above areas.
