Sampling, sample preparation and sample management
The group for sampling, sample preparation and sample management is responsible for the collection of the samples, the sample pre-treatment (if necessary), the registration of the sample data and requests for analysis in the central database, the distribution of the samples to the different laboratories and the correct storage and disposal of the samples before, during and after the analyses are carried out.
The main equipment used consists of electronic balances, a cold room for sample storage, electric ovens, microwave digestion ovens, hotplates and filtration setups.
