Personal dosemeter

• The thermoluminescent dosimeter (TLD)

The dosimetry service provides a radiation personal dosimeter based on thermoluminescent material.

Applications:

• Routine personnel dosimetry for hospitals, companies, institutions ...
• Dose determinations in case of acute exposures

• Extremity dosimeter The dosimetry service provides an extremity dosimeter that consists of a finger-ring with a thermoluminescent detector (LiF:Mg,Ti). Applications: Manipulation of isotopes Manipulation in glove boxes Working under X-rays

Environmental dosemeter

• Environmental dosimeter

The dosimeters can be mounted on vaults and can withstand environmental conditions. Every dosimeter contains 4 thermoluminescent detectors (LiF:Mg,Cu,P). These dosimeters are changed and read out every 3 months.

Applications:

• Continuous monitoring of background radiation around nuclear installations, hospitals, waste storage facilities
